Doctors Orders
Picture - good training for mono’s - but which one? Some crazy bouldering off the beach at Cala Luna, Sardinia
An apple a day keeps the doctor away. As the old saying goes. I’ve been having 2 just to make sure with an occasional apple pie for good measure. Doctor’s orders were a month off to rest the finger, followed by a few weeks gentle introduction. That should coincide with the injection effects wearing off and hopefully everything will have settled down.
A month off for me is a big deal, being approximately 26 days longer than any other rest period I’ve had in the last 15 years. Seeing it coming, I cunningly organised 3 weeks of beach holiday where it would be too hot to do anything. However, it still hurt like hell, seeing Sardinian cliffs dropping into the sea, and Pembrokshire trad beckoned from the BBQ. So I didn’t quite manage a total rest, with some E3 shuffling and a spot of DWS above a turquoise Mediterranean (more of that later).
But here we are now, a gentle introduction, the problem is where? The entire peak district appears to have been washed away! So North Wales it is! I heard it was dry over there..
