Since 2000 Steve has set routes at indoor gyms all over the country. With an engineering background and an eye for perfection as well as experiencing just about every move possible within climbing, Steve is capable of creating routes that are both interesting and challenging to the climber.
As a qualified National Route Setter, Steve has worked at numerous establishments and is currently a regular at the Castle in London, Climb UK in Rochdale and the Foundry in Sheffield. Recently he was chief route setter for the 2008 Ford Skymasters Challenge at the Outdoorshow in Birmingham NEC.
